Privacy Policy

Nvr Alone is an Android emergency-alert application. This policy explains how Nvr Alone accesses, uses, stores, and transmits information.

Information stored on the device

Nvr Alone stores the contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, prepared alert messages and templates, and preferred email app that you enter or import. Premium features can also store optional medical and vehicle details. Nvr Alone keeps this information in the app's private storage on your device and disables cloud backup and device transfer for this app data.

Nvr Alone also stores an on-device activity log that may contain contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, emergency alert start times, SMS handoff and result information, email handoff status, and available network and SIM snapshots. The log is limited to recent entries and remains in private app storage unless you deliberately export or share it using Premium.

Premium purchases

Nvr Alone uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time Premium purchase. Google Play handles payment and the Google account used for the purchase. The app receives purchase status and a purchase token from Google Play, acknowledges completed purchases, and stores the last verified Premium entitlement and verification time in private on-device storage so previously verified access can continue while offline. Nvr Alone does not receive or store your payment-card details and does not send purchase tokens to a developer-operated server in this version.

Contacts

You can enter contact details manually without granting contacts permission. If you choose Import, Nvr Alone asks for permission to read contacts and opens Android's contact picker. After you select a contact, Nvr Alone reads that contact's name, selected phone number, and first available email address and saves those values in the app. Nvr Alone does not upload your address book to the developer or use contacts for advertising or analytics. You can deny or revoke contacts permission and continue entering contacts manually.

Location

When Nvr Alone is open and you grant location permission, it uses foreground approximate or precise location so your emergency alert can include an address, coordinates, and, when enabled, links to Google Maps. Nvr Alone does not request or use background location. Android's system geocoding service may process coordinates to resolve an address.

SMS and email alerts

When you tap Send Emergency Alert, Nvr Alone sends the alert text to the phone numbers you saved through your mobile carrier's SMS service and records SMS handoff/result status in the local activity log. When emergency email drafts are enabled, Nvr Alone passes recipients, subject, and alert text to the email app you selected, where you review and send the message, and records whether the email handoff opened or failed.

Your carrier, email provider, system location provider, and chosen recipients handle transmitted information under their own terms and privacy practices.

User-directed sharing and problem reports

Premium lets you create an activity-log export and choose another app or service with which to share it. Nvr Alone does not send the export automatically. Information you share is handled by the app or service you select.

When you choose Report a Problem, Nvr Alone can create a debug report in private storage on your device. The default report includes app and build information, device and Android information, permission and setting states, network and SIM diagnostics, redacted contact and activity-log diagnostics, checks showing whether optional details are present and their lengths, and locally captured crash details. The current alert message and exact location are excluded unless you choose to include them. The developer receives the report and your problem description only if you attach and send them through your email app.

Information received by the developer

Nvr Alone has no account system, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated server. The developer does not automatically receive your saved contacts, alert messages or templates, optional medical or vehicle details, location, activity log, or debug report. The developer receives information only when you deliberately send a problem report or otherwise choose to share information with the developer.

Retention and deletion

You can edit saved information in Nvr Alone and clear the activity log from the Activity Log screen. Removing a saved contact or optional detail removes it from the app's current saved settings, but earlier activity-log entries or exports may still contain that information until you clear or delete them. To erase all information in Nvr Alone's private app storage, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Copies you previously sent by SMS, handed to an email app, exported, or shared are controlled by their recipients and the services or apps involved.

Children

Nvr Alone is not designed for children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children through a developer-operated service.

Security and service limitations

Nvr Alone uses Android private app storage and requests only the permissions needed for emergency alerts. No method of device storage or message transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Nvr Alone is not a substitute for 911 or other emergency services. SMS, email, location, address lookup, and message delivery are not guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
